Drive to the southwestern part of Mauritius. Stop at the Trou aux Cerfs volcanic crater, which offers a panoramic view of the island. Afterwards visit to a wooden model ship factory in Curepipe. Next on the agenda is a trip to the sacred lake of Grand Bassin, the most important place of worship for the Mauritian Hindus. Then drive to Black River Gorges National Park and stop at the viewpoint. Later a visit to La Rhumerie de Chamarel rum distillery, learn about the production process of local rum and taste it. Then a traditional lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, drive to the village of Chamarel, admire the 90-meter waterfall and the geological formation called The seven Coloured Earths.
